Carpinus

Hornbeam bonsai are part of the birch family, grow quickly and are very resistant. They have a thin and elegant branching which is enhanced by the many styles that the plant can assume, therefore, hornbeam bonsai are suitable for the design of medium and large bonsai. The leaves are medium green in the growing season and bright yellow or red in the fall. The wood is very hard and, in extreme cases, it can even reach over 20 m.
